Stoughton, Wisconsin police arrest man after alleged stabbing

A 25-year-old man was arrested early Saturday in connection with an alleged stabbing, Stoughton police said.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Moline Street and Matthew Way shortly before 12:25 a.m. after multiple 911 callers reported a disturbance involving a man who was yelling that he had been stabbed.

When officers arrived, they found no active disturbance but located blood in a nearby driveway. Police later located the victim at Stoughton Hospital.

Investigators identified and found the suspect, who was arrested on suspicion of first-degree attempted homicide and battery.
