Flock Worker Calls Police After Reporter Films Camera Installation in Georgia
A Flock Safety worker called police after investigative reporter Brendan Keefe filmed him upgrading a license plate camera near Atlanta and followed his vehicle at a distance, according to InvestigateTV.
The incident occurred on August 19, 2026, and was detailed in a September 8 report by InvestigateTV and Atlanta News First.
Reporter stopped in Milton
Keefe said he wore press identification and filmed from a public street. When the installer drove away, he followed several cars behind, hoping to document another installation.
The worker called 911, saying he felt harassed and was being followed. Police stopped Keefe in Milton, Georgia.
Body camera footage showed an officer telling a supervisor that Keefe’s driving did not appear to constitute stalking or break any laws. He was allowed to leave after approximately 17 minutes.
Flock responds to privacy concerns
An officer said the installer feared identification could expose him or his family to targeting.
Flock told InvestigateTV it does not oppose public photography of its cameras or personnel. The company said workers may contact police when they believe they face threats, harassment or other safety concerns.
