Suspect arrested after armed robbery at Plaza San Cristobal in Tulsa

Tulsa Police arrested a 21-year-old man accused of holding a store employee at gunpoint and stealing cash from a business at Plaza San Cristobal.

Arrest and charges

Police identified the suspect as Ca’Rell Bellvie. Police said officers responded around 11:54 a.m. Sept.

25 to the shopping center near 41st Street and 129th East Avenue.

An employee told officers a man armed with a handgun stole cash from the register before running away. Detectives track suspect to nearby apartments

Robbery detectives obtained surveillance video that police said showed the suspect’s face, clothing and firearm.

During a search of the area, detectives developed a lead that took them to Stonebrook Apartments, directly across the street from the shopping center.

Detectives obtained a search warrant and took Bellvie into custody at an apartment. Police recover gun, clothing and stolen cash According to Tulsa Police, detectives recovered:

Police said Bellvie was taken to the Detective Division, where he confessed to the robbery and expressed remorse.
