Hueytown, Alabama shooting: Two men wounded

HUEYTOWN, Alabama — HUEYTOWN, Ala. (WBMA) — Two men were taken to a Birmingham hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds Sunday after a shooting in Hueytown, police said.

Hueytown 911 received several calls about shots being fired around 12:45 p.m. in the 2400 block of 22nd Street, according to the Hueytown Police Department.

As officers responded, dispatchers received additional calls reporting that two adult men with gunshot wounds were inside a vehicle in the River Square parking lot.

Police said the men were connected to the shooting reported on 22nd Street and had driven themselves from that area to River Square.
