Investigation ongoing after reported shots fired on Hawthorne Road in Hanahan

An active scene has been reported at Hawthorne Road in Hanahan after a Friday morning reported shooting, according to the Hanahan Police Department.

Preliminary information from police states that at approximately 6:55 a.m. first responders received a call regarding shots fired at a home.

Upon arriving at the scene no suspect and no victim were located. Police remain in the area and an investigation is ongoing.
