1 injured in southeast Colorado Springs shooting — CSPD’s, Colorado

CSPD’S, Colorado — COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – One person is in serious condition following a shooting in a Colorado Springs neighborhood overnight.

Officers responded to the 900 block of Cana Grove on the southeast side of the city at 1:45 Friday morning, where they found one man with a suspected gunshot wound.

After searching the area further, officers determined the shooting actually happened in the 4500 block of Samaritan Loop, a couple of blocks away from where the victim was found.

At last report, the victim was listed as “stable” at a local hospital. Detectives from CSPD’s assault unit are investigating the case.
