Five Shot at Party in Hancock County, Georgia; One Critically Injured

HANCOCK COUNTY, Georgia — Five people were shot at a party in Hancock County, Georgia, with one victim reported in critical condition as authorities investigate the overnight shooting.
Deputies with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office responded to a party on Beulah Highway at around 3 a.m. and discovered five people suffering from gunshot wounds.
One Victim in Critical Condition
Authorities said one of the five victims is in critical condition, while the other four are listed in stable condition.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
GBI Joins Investigation
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office has requested assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation as investigators work to determine what led to the shooting and identify those responsible.
No suspect information has been publicly released so far.
