Tornado Warning Issued for Baltimore, Columbia and Glen Burnie, Maryland

A Tornado Warning is in effect for Baltimore, Columbia and Glen Burnie, Maryland, until 4:45 p.m. EDT Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Radar has indicated a possible tornado moving through the Baltimore metropolitan area. Pea-sized hail may also accompany the storm.

People in Baltimore and surrounding communities should take shelter immediately in a basement or a small interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building, away from windows.
