Tornado Warning Issued for Cullom, Saunemin and Kempton, Illinois

A Tornado Warning is in effect for Cullom, Saunemin and Kempton, Illinois, until 2:00 a.m. CDT Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Radar has indicated tornado-producing rotation within the warned storm. Pea-sized hail is also possible as the system moves through the area.

Approximately 1,468 people are within the warning zone, which includes portions of Livingston and Ford counties.

Residents in Cullom, Saunemin, Kempton and surrounding areas should take shelter immediately in a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and remain sheltered until the warning has passed.
