Video: Andrew and Tristan Tate Arrested in Miami on UK Extradition Request, U.S. Marshals Confirm

Social media influencers Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in Miami, Florida, on Saturday following a United Kingdom extradition request, according to U.S. authorities.
British prosecutors are seeking the brothers’ extradition after authorizing additional criminal charges, bringing the total to 59 charges. The allegations include rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, as well as offenses involving indecent images of children and extreme pornography. The alleged offenses involve seven complainants and are said to have occurred between 2010 and 2017.
The arrests took place outside a private event in Miami. The U.S. Marshals Service confirmed the brothers were taken into custody on a warrant related to the U.K.’s extradition request and are expected to appear in federal court as the extradition process moves forward.
Andrew and Tristan Tate have denied all allegations against them. Their attorney described the case as politically motivated and said the brothers intend to challenge the extradition request through the legal process.
