Three injured in overnight downtown Greenville, North Carolina shooting, police say

Greenville police are investigating an overnight shooting that sent three men to the hospital.

Police say officers responded around 2 a.m. to reports of shots fired near 207 East Fifth Street in downtown Greenville.

When officers arrived, they found an adult man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with injuries police say are not life-threatening.

Two other adult men later arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle with gunshot wounds. Police say their injuries are also not life-threatening.
