Police respond to investigate after body found in downtown Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita Police Department responded to investigate the scene downtown where a body was found. The discovery was reported about 10:15 a.m. in the 400 block of South Topeka Street, a little north and east of East Kellogg and Broadway. 

A Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor confirmed the report that someone was found dead at the scene, the nature of which is unknown. Check for an update once we’re able to confirm the nature of the discovery.
