RCMP: No Survivors Found After Plane Crash Near Nanaimo, Vancouver Island

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have confirmed that no one survived a plane crash discovered early Friday morning near Twilight Way, southwest of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island.

According to RCMP, the crash was reported around 3:00 a.m., and responding officers located the wreckage within a large debris field. Authorities have not yet released details about the type of aircraft involved or how many people were onboard.

Investigators remain at the crash site as efforts continue to document the scene and determine what happened.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada says it is aware of the incident and is working with involved parties to gather information, though it has referred all further inquiries to the RCMP.
