Man, 28, Stabbed to Death on Lloyd Baker Street in Clerkenwell as Murder Probe Launched

A murder investigation has been launched after a 28-year-old man was stabbed to death on Lloyd Baker Street in Clerkenwell, London.

Metropolitan Police officers were called to the residential street at around 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, where they found the man suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital by paramedics but died the following day, Thursday, September 17. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Police said no arrests have been made and detectives are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen or heard anything connected to the attack.

A Section 60 stop-and-search order was introduced across parts of Caledonian Road, Clerkenwell and Hoxton from Friday afternoon into Saturday morning as officers increased patrols in the area.

Chief Superintendent Jason Stewart said additional officers would remain in the area while detectives continue their investigation.
