Suspect arrested in July Georgetown shooting that injured 19-year-old

A fourth suspect in a July Georgetown shooting that left a 19-year-old injured on Butts Street has been apprehended after months of searching , according to the Georgetown Police Department.

Dy’Qarius Armstrong was arrested and charged with attempted murder, discharging firearms into a dwelling and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

The initial report on the incident from July 8 states that officers responded to a residence on Butts Street at approximately 11 p.m. after receiving reports of an individual who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

Upon arriving on scene, officers made contact with the victim and his mother.
