Man Charged in Stabbing Outside Valley Mall Appearing in Court Today.

A 32-year-old man, charged with aggravated assault in connection with a stabbing in Corner Brook Tuesday evening, is scheduled to appear in court this afternoon for a status update.

Gregg Musakanda is facing numerous charges including aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, disguise with intent and break and enter.

He’s alleged to have attacked a 37-year-old business owner at the Valley Mall in Corner Brook around 5:30 Tuesday.

RNC are attempting to establish a timeline in the lead-up to the incident, and are asking anyone who may have seen a man, dressed in all black and with his face obscured prior to the incident, to give them a call at 709-637-4100.
