Police: Juvenile killed in shooting near Raytown High School

Raytown Police said officers were dispatched to 6024 Blue Ridge Boulevard in Raytown at 1:21 p.m. regarding a juvenile male with a gunshot wound.

The address police were called to is a Casey’s gas station that is just west of Raytown High School.

Police said the victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries and was later pronounced dead.

There are currently no suspects in custody, and police said an investigation is ongoing.
