16-year-old arrested for social media shooting threat targeting LaGrange High School
A 16-year-old was arrested on Thursday after posting a shooting threat on social media that targeted LaGrange High School.
According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, a school resource officer was notified of the threat just after 3:00 p.m.
Detectives spoke to the student, who admitted to making the threat. The student was arrested and charged with terrorizing.
He has since been booked into the Juvenile Detention Center.
