Woman sought after stabbing on Franklin Street in Northeast DC

DC Police issued an early-morning lookout for a woman with dreadlocks following the stabbing

A stabbing on Franklin Street in Northeast DC sent police searching for a woman dressed entirely in dark clothing early Monday, with officers warning the public not to approach her.

The Metropolitan Police Department issued a crime alert at approximately 1:44 a.m. for the stabbing in the 2800 block of Franklin Street NE.

Police described the person they were seeking as a Black female with dreadlocks. She was reportedly wearing all dark clothing and a black skull cap.
