Charlottesville Police are circulating surveillance images of a suspect in Saturday’s shots fired incident on the city’s Downtown Mall, and asking the public for help identifying the man.

CPD responded to a report of gunshots being fired during a large disturbance in the 300 block of East Main St. about 1:53 a.m.

Saturday, CPD announced. No injuries were reported, but some nearby businesses sustained property damage. Investigators found seven 9mm cartridges near the CVS store at 300 East Main St.
