Elbert County Authorities Asking for Public’s Help in Shooting Investigation

Elbert County Authorities are asking for the public’s help regarding a shooting at an apartment complex.

According to the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, Friday evening deputies and Elberton Police responded to Sunny Brook Apartments in reference to several 911 calls about shots being fired.

Investigators determined that a music video was being recorded and numerous people were present when 2 groups of people started shooting at each other.

One of the bullets entered through an apartment wall and lodged in an interior wall of that apartment.
