Minden man charged with second-degree murder in fatal shooting of uncle

The following information is provided by the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office:

A second-degree murder charge has been filed against a 21-year-old Minden man for the Sunday, September 14 shooting death of his uncle, according to Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker.

Parker said Luther David Hair was officially charged after investigators looked into events surrounding the shooting death of 58-year-old Daniel W.

Hair at a residence in the 3400 block of Dorcheat Rd. Deputies were called to the reported shooting around 2 p.m.
