Three sought in connection with Apple Valley stabbing

A confrontation in residential neighborhood in Apple Valley escalated into a stabbing over the weekend. The crime took place shortly before midnight Saturday, Sept.

12, in the 15200 block of Apache Road, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.

A man was walking in the area with his wife when he was approached by three suspects, described only as male and tall, sheriff's department spokeswoman Jenny Smith said.

"An altercation occurred and the victim was stabbed," she said. The wounded man was taken to a hospital for treatment. An update on his condition was not available.
