Lovejoy police investigating Sunday shooting

The Lovejoy Police Department is investigating a Sunday shooting that wounded a juvenile.

According to the department, responded Sunday to call about a person being shot at about 5:10 p.m.

The shooting occurred in the area of 11622 Hastings Bridge Road, which is listed as the address of the Lovejoy Community Center.

When they arrived, officers found a juvenile male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
