Man Killed, Another Wounded in Granada Hills Shooting as Gunman Flees on Foot

A man was shot dead and another was wounded while sitting in a parked vehicle in Granada Hills, Los Angeles, early Sunday morning, according to police.

The shooting happened at about 1:50 a.m. near Ludlow Street and Yarmouth Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

Gunman approached parked vehicle

Police said a gunman walked up to the vehicle and fired several shots at the two men before fleeing the scene on foot.

Both victims were in their 20s.

One victim pronounced dead

Paramedics pronounced one man dead at the scene.

The second victim was taken to a hospital, where he was reported to have stable vital signs.

No suspect description or arrest was immediately announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
