Man Killed in Overnight Shooting on Rockville’s Seven Locks Road

A man was shot and killed overnight in the 1000 block of Seven Locks Road in Rockville, near Potomac Woods Plaza, in what Montgomery County police are now investigating as a homicide.

Officers and fire-rescue crews responded early Sunday morning to find an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound, and the case was quickly handed to detectives once his injuries proved fatal.

According to The MoCo Show, police initially described the victim as being in serious condition around 2:50 a.m. before the Major Crimes Division formally opened a homicide investigation.

WJLA also confirmed that the man was shot and killed on Seven Locks Road, though this account does not identify the victim.
