West Palm Beach man stabbed at fire station after argument, suspect charged with attempted murder

West Palm Beach police arrested a 72-year-old man after a stabbing incident late last night that left one man hospitalized.

Police said a verbal argument broke out between two men who knew each other, which eventually escalated.

Officers responded to a fire station off Broadway Avenue, near 45th Street, just after 11 p.m. According to police, the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times.

The victim then ran to the nearby fire station for help, but the suspect followed him, stabbed him again, and threatened to kill him.
