Multiple juveniles injured in alleged stabbing near San Jose Light Rail Station

San Jose Police officers responded to a reported stabbing involving two groups of juveniles near the Fruitdale Light Rail Station on Tuesday evening, authorities said.

Preliminary information indicates the incident occurred near the light rail station platform.

Multiple victims sustained injuries, and at least one victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office was also notified.

Police said the incident remains an active and ongoing investigation and that additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Officers were called to the area at approximately 6:36 p.m., according to the San Jose Police Department.
