Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms, which had produced heavy rainfall between 1 and 3 inches across much of the warned area. Polk County public safety agencies report that any poor drainage and low lying flooding has ended. However, with additional storms likely moving over the area through the rest of this evening, additional rainfall up to 1.5 inches is possible and may renew flooding in these poor drainage and low lying areas

Des Moines, West Des Moines, Ankeny, Urbandale, Johnston, Clive, Altoona, Pleasant Hill, Grimes, Windsor Heights, Carlisle, Bondurant, Polk City, Saylorville, Mitchellville, Adventureland Amusement Park, Iowa State Fairgrounds and Prairie Meadows
