Chicago’s Homeland Security Task Force seized 21 kilograms of cocaine and $70,000 this week, according to an update shared by the FBI.
The announcement did not identify suspects, specify where the seizure occurred or provide details about arrests or charges.
Task Forces Target Organized Crime
The FBI said Homeland Security Task Forces target sophisticated cartels, foreign terrorist organizations and transnational gangs. Their nationwide work covers crimes including homicide, kidnapping, human trafficking, extortion and cross-border drug smuggling.
