Florida dog daycare owner arrested over hidden camera in bathroom

A dog daycare owner was arrested after employees discovered a hidden camera inside a bathroom at Dog Dayz Inn near New Smyrna Beach, the Volusia Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies responded Monday to the facility on Edgewater Canal Road after staff found a camera concealed inside an electrical outlet.

According to deputies, Donald Hemphill, 59, admitted to installing the camera four to five months ago.

Multiple video files capturing women in “stages of undress” were found on his phone. One of the victims was a child.
