Suspect arrested in deadly stabbing of 30-year-old mother Shakeema Davis at Crown Heights, Brooklyn barbecue

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) — A suspect is under arrest after a 30-year-old mother was stabbed and killed at a barbecue in Brooklyn last month.

Shakeema Davis was fatally stabbed at a barbecue she threw at Lincoln Terrace Park on Aug. 18.

On Tuesday, police said 25-year-old Deandre Crearywas charged in her killing.

He is charged with murder, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a weapon.
