Chattanooga, Tennessee police investigate Monday morning shooting, one person injured

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee — The Chattanooga Police Department says a 41-year-old man was injured after a shooting Monday morning near Tunnel Boulevard.

Officers were called after someone had been reported shot at around 9:45am along the 400 block of Tunnel Blvd.

The injured victim was discovered with a gunshot wound. Police provided medical aid before EMS transported him to a hospital with injuries that are potentially non-life-threatening.

CPD Homicide and Crime Scene Units processed the scene. No suspect information is available at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call 423-698-2525.
