Boil Water Advisory issued in Florence, South Carolina

FLORENCE, South Carolina — FLORENCE, SC () – Residents in Florence are being warned about a boil water advisory.

On Monday, The City of Florence said that water service has been disrupted for customers in the Spaulding Heights Neighborhood due to a water main break at High Hampton Road and Rocky Way Drive.

The Boil Water Advisory will be in effect when water service is restored.

The city said that residents area advised to boil their tap water vigorously for one minute prior to using it for drinking or cooking.
