TBI issues Silver Alert for missing man out of Nashville, Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — NASHVILLE, Tenn. () – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for a man missing from Nashville.

The TBI is looking for 84-year-old Austin Smith. Officials described Smith as 5’7”, with gray hair and brown eyes.

The TBI said Smith was last seen near Hunters Lane in Madison wearing a black shirt and black pants and a hat.

Smith is believed to be on foot and has a medical condition that may impair his ability to return home safely without assistance, the TBI said.
