‘He was our everything’: Milwaukee, Wisconsin family remembers father killed in shooting

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin — Milwaukee family members are remembering Marris Virgil, the 37-year-old man who was shot and killed Friday evening near 12th and W. Keefe Avenue.

Virgil was killed around 6:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of W. Keefe Avenue, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

He suffered fatal gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
