3 arrested after man shot in Southeast DC, Washington

SOUTHEAST DC, Washington — WASHINGTON (7News) — Three people were arrested after a man was shot in Southeast D.C. Sunday night, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Police said officers responded to the 1900 block of 16th Street SE at approximately 8:35 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man who was conscious and breathing and suffering from gunshot wounds.

D.C. Fire and EMS took the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
