Tulsa, Oklahoma police investigate stabbing that left man critically injured

TULSA, Oklahoma — Tulsa police say a man is in critical condition after being stabbed near the 1300 block of South Detroit overnight.

Tulsa police are investigating a reported stabbing that left a man critically injured early Saturday morning in the 1300 block of S. Detroit Avenue.

Police said the victim told officers he was sleeping when an unknown man stabbed him in the head. Officers responded to the area around 12:20 a.m.

Saturday, Aug. 22, after an unknown caller reported that he had been stabbed in the head. When officers arrived, EMSA was already transporting the victim to St. John.
