Thornton Shooting in Colorado: 1 dead, 1 Injuredcrash

THORNTON, Colorado — One person is dead and another injured after a shooting and a crash in Thornton early Friday.

Thornton Police officers were called to the area of Colorado Boulevard, between 100th Avenue and Thornton Parkway, just before 5 a.m.

Friday, according to Thornton Police.

When officers arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle after a report that the vehicle had crashed into a pole, according to police.

Colorado Boulevard is closed between 100th Avenue and Thornton Parkway as police investigate the scene.
