Four Juveniles Arrested After Reservoir Park Shooting in Harrisburg; Police Seek Fifth Suspect

Police in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, have arrested four juveniles in connection with a shooting at Reservoir Park and are continuing to search for a fifth person believed to have opened fire.

The shooting occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. on August 1, when several juveniles allegedly began shooting at one another, sending families and other people in the park running and ducking for cover, according to charging documents.

Harrisburg police said Monday that four juveniles have now been arrested and charged. Authorities previously said those involved were being charged as adults with assault and firearms offenses.

Court documents identify three of the alleged shooters as Dereon Gibson, 17; Danijah Heyward, 16; and Angelo Arrington Jr., 15. The identity of the fourth arrested suspect was not immediately available in the report.

Investigators are still working to identify a fifth suspected shooter and have released an image of a person they are seeking in connection with the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing, and the charges against the suspects are allegations pending court proceedings.
