Heat Advisory Issued for New York City Through Monday Evening

A Heat Advisory is in effect for New York City until 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 10, according to NYC Emergency Management and the National Weather Service.

Officials are urging New Yorkers to stay hydrated, seek air-conditioned or other cool spaces, and avoid strenuous outdoor activities, particularly during the hottest part of the day.
