Police: Social media threat prompts 2-hour delay to all Bridgeport schools Thursday

Bridgeport Public Schools announced that all schools in the district will be on a two-hour delay in response to a threat.

Officials said increased police presence will be available at all schools in Bridgeport.

Bridgeport police said they’re actively investigating and pursuing individuals responsible for the threats.

Harding High School also announced that it will postpone the senior sunrise event until a new date is scheduled.

The threats made to Bridgeport Schools join a growing list of recent threats targeting schools all throughout Connecticut.
