Four people were stabbed on a train in Tokyo, it is being reported.

Japanese media report that one person in possession of a knife has been arrested after four people were injured on a Yamanote Line train as it stopped at the city’s Akihabara Station.

A video shared on social media shows multiple police officers arresting a suspect as they are held on the floor of the train. Initial reports claim that the suspect was a female.

A social media user who uploaded the video captioned it in Japanese: “Apparently he brandished a knife on the Yamanote Line train at Akihabara Station…some people were injured…the culprit was a woman…maybe she was the host or something?”
