Video circulating online reportedly shows police at Moscow’s Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve after the U.S. Embassy warned of a credible threat of a mass-casualty event at the site on October 31.

The museum has reportedly closed following the warning. Official confirmation of the closure and the purpose of the police deployment has not been independently verified.

In its alert, the embassy urged people to avoid the museum reserve and surrounding area, stay alert and avoid crowds. It said the U.S. government was coordinating with Russian authorities on a response.

The warning concerned a potential threat; it did not announce that an attack had occurred.
