Pittsfield man charged in Great Barrington stabbing

Great Barrington police responded at about 4 a.m. on October 25 to a reported disturbance outside the residence. He pleaded not guilty and was held on $50,000 bail.

Rivas was arraigned Monday morning in Southern Berkshire District Court. The incident remains under investigation by Great Barrington police, with assistance from the State Police detective unit assigned to the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office.
