Man Gets 25 Years for Shooting at Federal Officers in Springfield, Ohio

Andre Jordan has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for attempted murder of federal officers during a hotel standoff in Springfield, Ohio, WHIO reported Thursday.

Jordan barricaded himself inside the hotel for hours in 2025 and fired at federal agents. A fugitive task force had tracked him there while seeking to arrest him on an aggravated murder warrant.

He also faces a separate state prosecution over a fatal shooting outside a Columbus tavern. That murder trial is scheduled to begin next month in Franklin County.
