Revised Fire Department Fee Package Advances

27 recommended revised Fire Department fees that could take effect next year, a week after the Common Council sent the proposal back for further revision. The change would require an ordinance revision to enact.

The fees are intended to cover increased operating costs. Fire Chief Kalin Montevideo said the fee is intended to encourage compliance with the fire code.
