Dennis Weedman named Illinois State University general counsel

President Aondover Tarhule has appointed Dennis Weedman as Illinois State University’s next general counsel. “I am grateful to the search committee for its thoughtful work in bringing forward an exceptionally strong pool of candidates,” said President Tarhule.

Weedman will begin his duties November 1, 2026, replacing Jeannie Barrett, who resigned earlier this year.
