Woman sues University of Chicago fraternity chapter over reported sexual assault

Jane Doe’s lawsuit points to a history of police investigations into sexual assault reports tied to the university’s Alpha Delta Phi fraternity chapter. A friend found her and helped her leave the house, but she struggled to speak and walk as she was led out, according to the suit.

The lawsuit says that a fraternity member gave Jane Doe a shot of alcohol and she was later found unconscious in a room.
