Police investigation involving freight train in Grayslake causes Metra delays

– A police investigation is impacting Metra service in the north suburbs during the Monday evening commute. Metra said inbound and outbound North Central Service and Milwaukee District North trains are stopped near Grayslake due to the investigation.

A freight train is stopped near Prairie Crossing in Grayslake. Authorities did not immediately say what happened or when trains were expected to be on the move again.
